Join us for bespoke building and creative construction between 10:30am-12:30pm on the first and third Saturdays of each month between February and October.

Whether our budding builders follow our changing weekly theme or create their own construction, we offer each participant the opportunity to showcase their brilliant builds between sessions in our special display cases in the museum’s reception area.

Only £4.25 per session, please book at reception as spaces are limited.

Join Hamilton Operatic and Dramatic Club for Sunshine on Leith, a jukebox musical featuring songs by The Proclaimers, following two soldiers - Davy and Ally - returning to Edinburgh from Afghanistan to navigate civilian life, love, and family. As they pursue relationships with local women, including Davy’s sister Liz, they face romantic challenges and secrets, ultimately celebrating the strength of home and family.

The highly successful show, We Three Kings of Rock n Roll celebrates the music of three icons of Rock n Roll - Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley.

Roy Orbison, performed by Steve Place will bring you the hits from ‘In Dreams’ to ‘I Drove all Night’, back to back hits. Just like you have Roy Orbison in the room!

Marc Robinson and his four-piece band ‘The Counterfeit Crickets’ pay attention to detail with a tribute to Buddy Holly, with authentic attire, horned rimmed glasses and the famous Stratocaster Guitar. Marc Robinson from the original ‘Stars in their Eyes’ Show and ‘Buddy’ The Musical, creates nostalgic memories with songs that include ‘Heartbeat’, ‘It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’, ‘Peggy Sue’ and ‘True Love Ways’!

ELVIS, what more can you say, the true King of Rock n Roll himself, with lots of classics including ‘That’s all-right Mama’, ‘G.I. Launching in August, Low Parks Museum will offer a varied programme of afternoon entertainment each month with its Music in the Museum programme.

Delight in hearing the eighteenth-century Assembly Room filled with music to suit a wide variety of tastes, courtesy of a selection of top-class musicians from across Scotland. Join us on the second Thursday of each month at 2pm for an engaging opportunity to enjoy quality live music in the afternoon.
