Chewin' The Fat star Karen Dunbar is back with her brand new 2025 Scottish tour!
Karen Dunbar is one of Scotland’s best-known comedy actors. Starting off in the sketch show Chewin’ the Fat, she then went on to star in her own show, The Karen Dunbar Show, which received various awards and nominations.
Karen has trod the boards in everything from Glasgow Panto to West End Theatre, performed Burns, Shakespeare, stand up and DJ-ed all in New York and last year DJ-ed at TRNSMT and in Ibiza.
In 2014 she opened the Commonwealth Games in front of forty thousand folk and one billion viewers.
From wee pubs to the National Theatre, Karen has captivated audiences with her mix of comedy, music and acting talents.
VIP meet and greet tickets incude the chance to meet Karen in person, have your photo taken with her, and you will receive a signed official poster. Karen is also happy to sign merchandise ordered from our website. Please note: meet and greet will take place during the interval.

Whether our budding builders follow our changing weekly theme or create their own construction, we offer each participant the opportunity to showcase their brilliant builds between sessions in our special display cases in the museum’s reception area.

Mud Madness 5 October 2025
Mud Madness is an event for all ages, and this year it will be on Sunday 5 October. The 1k mini mud run for 4-11s will be on the lawn, and the Family 5k run will take you through Chatelherault grounds, and involve mud runs, water slides, obstacles and getting your feet wet in the Avon!
You collect your t-shirt at the start, and you medal on completing the course.
Why not give it a go? Permission to get muddy and splash in puddles!
Registration is now open and you can join up on Q-buster. Fees are £21.00 adult, £13.00 junior and £52.00 family (max 2 adult, 2 junior).

A bickering husband and wife and the dozen regulars who pass through their pub in an evening are played by two actors. Each vignette skilfully combines pathos and humour. When a little boy is left behind by his father, a fragile reconciliation occurs as their own dark tragedy is revealed.
