Lanark Library was gifted to the town by Charles Lindsay in 1914 and since then has guarded many secrets. You are invited to solve one of its deadliest – the wartime murder of Librarian Robert Aitken.

Find out about the library’s wartime past and meet the suspects, including our very own Captain Lockhart-Smythe of the Home Guard, and Mildred Somerville, leader of the Land Girls.
