New System Update – Phase 2 Rollout

Following the successful completion of Phase 1, we're now preparing for the next stage of our new front-of-house system rollout, which allows you to book classes, pay for activities and register your visit on arrival.

Phase 2 is planned to begin on Wednesday 28 October 2026, bringing the new system to more of our leisure centres across South Lanarkshire.

Developed in partnership with leisure management software provider Legend, the new system is an important step towards improving your experience when booking and using our facilities.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue this significant transition. We also ask that you remain kind to our staff as they adapt to the new system and ways of working.

What will happen during Phase 2?

We'll continue moving sites across in stages to help manage the transition. During each changeover, there will be some temporary disruption to online booking and app services.

Please check the information below for the planned dates and arrangements affecting your centre.

If you have already booked an activity, such as a fitness class or badminton session, there's no need to take any action. Your booking will be transferred to the new system.

Please note: Rollout dates and downtime arrangements are provisional and subject to confirmation.

Phase 2 – Upcoming Rollout Dates

Ally McCoist Leisure Centre	Wednesday 28 October 2026
Site instructions: For Ally McCoist Leisure Centre bookings only, both online and app access will be unavailable from 4pm on Tuesday 27 October 2026 while we prepare for the changeover. Online booking will temporarily reopen from 6am to 9am on Wednesday 28 October. Please note that the app will remain unavailable during this period. Both online booking and app access will resume as normal from 12noon on Wednesday 28 October once the changeover is complete. If you have already booked an activity, such as a fitness class or badminton session, there's no need to take any action. Your booking will be transferred to the new system.
Jock Stein Sports Centre	date to be confirmed
Site instructions: The Jock Stein Sport Centre's roll out has been temporarily delayed. We will update customers with the new rollout dates and times as soon as possible.
Blackwood-Kirkmuirhill Leisure Centre	Thursday 29 October 2026
Site instructions: For Blackwood-Kirkmuirhill Leisure Centre bookings only, both online and app access will be unavailable from 4pm on Wednesday 28 October 2026 while we prepare for the changeover. Online booking will temporarily reopen from 6am to 9am on Thursday 29 October. Please note that the app will remain unavailable during this period. Both online booking and app access will resume as normal from 12noon on Thursday 29 October once the changeover is complete. If you have already booked an activity, such as a fitness class or badminton session, there's no need to take any action. Your booking will be transferred to the new system.
Biggar Leisure Centre	Wednesday 11 November 2026
Site instructions: For Biggar Leisure Centre bookings only, both online and app access will be unavailable from 4pm on Tuesday 10 November 2026 while we prepare for the changeover. Online booking will temporarily reopen from 6am to 9am on Wednesday 11 November. Please note that the app will remain unavailable during this period. Both online booking and app access will resume as normal from 12noon on Wednesday 11 November once the changeover is complete. If you have already booked an activity, such as a fitness class or badminton session, there's no need to take any action. Your booking will be transferred to the new system.
Willie Waddell Leisure Centre	Wednesday 11 November 2026
Site instructions: For Willie Waddell Leisure Centre bookings only, both online and app access will be unavailable from 4pm on Tuesday 10 November 2026 while we prepare for the changeover. Online booking will temporarily reopen from 6am to 9am on Wednesday 11 November. Please note that the app will remain unavailable during this period. What do I need to do?

The majority of the changeover will happen behind the scenes. However, an important step will require you to register for Legend Online Services and activate your new online account.

You'll receive an invitation from Legend with simple step-by-step instructions to help you get set up.

To make future bookings online or through our app once your centre has moved to the new system, you must activate your account. We recommend doing this as soon as you receive your invitation.
