MTDA Performing Arts presents Jack and the Bean Stalk 30 October - 1 November 2025 7:30pm and 2:30pm Saturday matinee £18.50 (subject to £1.50 transaction fee) Village Theatre East Kilbride
A giant tale of magic, mayhem and moo-ving adventures!
Once upon a time in a quiet village, a cheeky lad named Jack lived with his mum and their trusty cow, Daisy. Times were tough, and when the cupboards were bare, Jack was sent to sell the cow at market. But instead of money, what did he get? Magic beans! (We know — typical Jack).
His mum wasn’t impressed and chucked the beans out the window… but by morning, a gigantic beanstalk had shot up into the sky! Being the curious sort, Jack climbed it (as you do) and found himself in a magical land above the clouds — home to a not-so-friendly GIANT!
With help from some new friends (and a few audience shout-outs, of course), Jack nabs a golden-egg-laying hen, a singing harp, and faces off against the giant in a daring escape. Will Jack save the day, make his fortune, and live happily ever after?
Packed with laughs, magic, music, and more than a few surprises, Jack and the Beanstalk is a panto adventure that’s larger than life — just like the beanstalk.

On 23rd January 2024 I was diagnosed as being neurodivergent which was kind of a surprise to me, funny enough not to anyone that knows me.
Although surprising this pretty much answered my full life and why I am the way I am.
So, come join me in a show where I’ll give you a first hand insight from my delusional eyes to what goes on in my ever-expanding mind with stories of how I've managed to survive through a life of total confusement to how and why I now prefer to be alone, mostly!
